Principal courses taught: Surveys of world literature and English literature; advanced courses in 20th-century British literature, contemporary poetry, C. S. Lewis, Honors Humanities, Honors Seminar in Social Sciences. Special courses taught in Oxford, England, for Abilene Christian University's Study Abroad Program.

Research interests: Multimedia poetry (using photography, paintings, martial arts, computer hypertext). Literary hypertext.
